Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
HaMeem. 1 The revelation of the Scripture is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 2 Verily, in the heavens and the earth are signs for the believers. 3 And in your creation, and what He scattered (through the earth) of moving (living) creatures are signs for people who have Faith with certainty. 4 and in the succession of night and day, and in the means of subsistence which God sends down from the skies, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless, and in the circulation of the winds: [in all this] there are signs for people who use their reason. 5 Such are the Signs of Allah, which We rehearse to thee in Truth; then in what exposition will they believe after (rejecting) Allah and His Signs? 6 Woe unto every liar, sinner! 7 who hears God's messages when they are conveyed to him, and yet, as though he had not heard them, persists in his haughty disdain! Hence, announce unto him grievous suffering 8 As for he who knows something of Our verses and then mocks them for those there is a humiliating punishment. 9 Hell is awaiting them and none of their deeds will be of any benefit to them, nor will any guardian whom they have chosen besides God. They will suffer a great torment. 10 This Book is guidance, and those who disbelieve in the revelations of their Lord, theirs shall be torment of calamity, afflictive. 11
