Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heavens and al-tariq. 1 Do you know what al-tariq is? 2 It is the piercing star. 3 For every soul there is a watcher. 4 So let man consider of what he was created; 5 He was created of a gushing fluid, 6 issuing between the loins and the breast-bones. 7 Verily, (Allah) is Able to bring him back (to life)! 8 on the Day when consciences are examined, 9 he will have no power, nor anyone to help him. 10 By the sky with its returning rain, 11 And the earth which splitteth (with the growth of trees and plants) 12 That this (Qur'an) is a decisive word 13 It is no pleasantry. 14 They are planning a scheme, 15 And I plot a plot (against them). 16 So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal thou gently with them for a while. 17
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
