The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the racers, panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
