۞ People, you are always in need of God and God is Self-sufficient and Praiseworthy. 15 If He wishes, He can remove you and put in your place a new creation. 16 And with Allah that shall not be hard. 17 And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to Allah is the [final] destination. 18 And the blind and the sighted are not equal! 19 nor are darkness and light 20 shade and heat are not alike, 21 nor are the living and the dead. God causes whom He will to hear Him, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear you. 22 thou art naught but a warner. 23 Verily We have sent thee in truth, as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner: and there never was a people, without a warner having lived among them (in the past). 24 If they reject you, (know that) others who lived before them had also rejected their Messengers, Messengers who had brought them miracles, scriptures, and the enlightening Book 25 Then I seized the ones who disbelieved, and how [terrible] was My reproach. 26
