Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 On a straight path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
