Al-Saaffaat 5 of 5
AND, BEHOLD, Jonah was indeed one of Our message-bearers 139 [Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship. 140 and sailed away in a laden ship, wherein people cast lots. Because he lost, he was thrown into the water. 141 and the fish swallowed him while he was blaming himself. 142 and had he not been among those who exalt (Allah), 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ But We cast him, upon the shore, and he was ill, 145 And We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him; 146 We sent him as a messenger to a hundred thousand people or more, 147 and they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad SAW): "Are there (only) daughters for your Lord and sons for them?" 149 Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses?" 150 No indeed! It is one of their fabrications when they say: 151 'God has begotten?' They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 154 Do you not understand? 155 Do you have clear authority? 156 Then produce your writ, if ye are truthful. 157 And they have invented a kinship between Him and the jinns, but the jinns know well that they have indeed to appear (before Him) (i.e. they will be brought for accounts). 158 God is too glorious for what they ascribe to Him 159 except for the sincere worshipers of Allah. 160 So, verily you (pagans) and those whom you worship (idols). 161 Can mislead anyone away from Him, 162 Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. 163 There is not one of us (angels) but has his known place (or position); 164 "And we are truly those who stand in rows, 165 And verily we! we hallow. 166 And there were those who said, 167 Had we but an admonition as had the ancients. 168 We would have been the chosen servants of Allah." 169 But when it came to them, they rejected it. They shall soon come to know (the end of such an attitude). 170 We decreed that Our Messenger servants 171 will certainly be victorious 172 And that Our host, they verily would be the victors. 173 So turn away from them for a while. 174 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175 Would they hasten on Our doom? 176 But when it cometh home to them, then it will be a hapless morn for those who have been warned. 177 So turn (O Muhammad SAW) away from them for a while, 178 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 179 Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him) 180 And peace be on the Messengers! 181 And all the praise and thanks be to Allah, Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 182
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
