Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the sky and the night comer - 1 and what could make you know what it is that comes in the night? 2 (It is) the star of piercing brightness; 3 That over each soul there is a guardian. 4 Let man reflect on what he was created from. 5 He is created from a water dripping, 6 That is issued from between the backs and the ribs. 7 Verily, (Allah) is Able to bring him back (to life)! 8 The Day when secrets will be put on trial, 9 He shall have neither strength nor helper. 10 By the rotating heavens 11 And by the Earth which opens out (for the gushing of springs or the sprouting of vegetation),- 12 Most surely it is a decisive word, 13 and is not to be taken lightly. 14 They (disbelievers) plot every evil plan, 15 and I am cunningly devising. 16 so bear with those who deny the truth, and let them be for a little while. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.
