The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
