Abraham was indeed a model, devoutly obedient to Allah, (and) true in Faith, and he joined not gods with Allah: 120 showing thankfulness for His blessings; He chose him, and He guided him to a straight path. 121 We granted him virtue in this life and he shall be among the righteous ones in the life to come. 122 Then We revealed Our will to you [O Muhammad], saying, "Follow the religion of Abraham, the upright in faith; he was not one of the polytheists." 123 The Sabbath was ordained only for those who differed about it, and most surely your Lord will judge between them on the resurrection day concerning that about which they differed. 124 Invite (mankind, O Muhammad SAW) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Quran) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided. 125 If you want retaliation, let it be equal to that which you faced. But if you exercise patience it will be better for you. 126 Endure thou patiently (O Muhammad). Thine endurance is only by (the help of) Allah. Grieve not for them, and be not in distress because of that which they devise. 127 Allah is with the cautious and those who do good. 128
