Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 Nay, [O men,] but you [are lured away from God whenever you are tempted to] give the lie to [God's] Judgment! 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 watching over you 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
