The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace 1

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 Master of the Day of Judgment. 4 You alone we worship and from You alone we seek help (and may we always). 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 The path of those whom Thou hast favoured. Not of those on whom is indignation brought down, nor of the astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
