۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
