The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 Then none will be able to deny its occurrence. 2 (Many) will it bring low; (many) will it exalt; 3 when the earth will suddenly shake with a terrible shaking, 4 and the mountains are totally shattered and crumble to pieces 5 Turned to dust, floating in the air, 6 And ye will be three kinds: 7 The people of the right hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their right hands. How happy they will be! 8 And those on the left how (wretched) are those on the left! 9 And the preceders are the preceders. 10 These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), 11 In gardens of delight; 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 on lavish couches 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 (and there) shall wait on them immortal youths 17 With goblets, (shining) beakers, and cups (filled) out of clear-flowing fountains: 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 And fruit of what they select 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 And there will be fair ones large eyed. 22 like the pearls in their shells: 23 A recompense for that which they have been working. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 but only the saying: 'Peace, Peace' 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 and serried acacias, 29 And shade extended 30 Gushing water, 31 and fruit abounding, 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 and upraised couches. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 Then We have made them virgins, 36 chastely amorous, 37 For those on the right. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
