▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
