The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
