The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A burning fire. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
