The Stars (Al-Najm)
62 verses, revealed in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the Star when it setteth, 1 Your comrade erreth not, nor is deceived; 2 Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire. 3 It is not but a revelation revealed, 4 One of mighty powers hath taught it him. 5 One vigorous; and he grew clear to view 6 And reached the highest pinnacle. 7 Then he drew near and drew closer 8 So he was the measure of two bows or closer still. 9 So Allah divinely revealed to His bondman, whatever He divinely revealed. 10 The [servant's] heart did not give the lie to what he saw: 11 Will you then argue with him about what he saw? 12 Indeed, he saw him another time 13 Near the Lote-tree beyond which none may pass: 14 near which is Paradise. 15 When there comes to the Lote Tree, that which comes 16 his eyes did not swerve, nor did they stray 17 For truly did he see, of the Signs of his Lord, the Greatest! 18 Have ye thought upon Al-Lat and Al-'Uzza 19 And Manat, the third - the other one? 20 Is the male for you and for Him the female? 21 That indeed is a division unfair! 22 They are naught but names which you have named, you and your fathers; Allah has not sent for them any authority. They follow naught but conjecture and the low desires which (their) souls incline to; and certainly the guidance has come to them from their Lord. 23 Does man imagine that it is his due to have all that he might wish for, 24 despite the fact that [both] the life to come and this present [one] belong to God [alone]? 25

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
