The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
