O you who believe, do not practice usury, charging doubled and redoubled (interest); but have fear of God: you may well attain your goal. 130 And fear the Fire, which is prepared for the disbelievers. 131 And obey Allah and the apostle, haply ye may be shewn mercy. 132 ۞ And vie with one another for your Lord's forgiveness and for a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, which has been prepared for the God-fearing, 133 who spend in the way of Allah both in plenty and hardship, who restrain their anger, and forgive others. Allah loves such good-doers." 134 (Paradise) is also for those who, when committing a sin or doing injustice to themselves, remember God and ask Him to forgive their sins. Who can forgive sins besides God? And who do not knowingly persist in their mistakes? 135 (As for) these-- their reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them, and excellent is the reward of the laborers. 136 There are many examples [of the communities] that have passed away before you: travel through the land, and see what was the end of those who rejected the Truth. 137 This is an exposition unto mankind and a guidance and an admonition unto the God-fearing. 138 Faint not, neither sorrow; you shall be the upper ones if you are believers. 139 If a wound has afflicted you (at Ohud), a wound like it has also afflicted the (unbelieving) people; and We bring these days to men by turns, and that Allah may know those who believe and take witnesses from among you; and Allah does not love the unjust. 140 And that Allah may purge those who believe and destroy the infidels. 141 Do you think that you will enter Paradise before Allah tests those of you who fought (in His Cause) and (also) tests those who are As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.)? 142 You used to wish for death before you met it, so you have seen it while you were looking. 143
