We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
