۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 In a book that is protected 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
