Blessed is He who placed in the heavens constellations of stars, and placed a burning lamp in it and the luminous moon. 61 And it is He Who created the alternation of the night and day for one who wishes to remember or intends to give thanks. 62 (Among) the servants of the Beneficent God are those who walk gently on the earth and when addressed by the ignorant ones, their only response is, "Peace be with you." 63 And who spend the night prostrating and standing, for their Lord. 64 And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting 65 Lo! it is wretched as abode and station; 66 And those who, when spending, neither exceed the limits nor act miserly, and stay in moderation between the two. 67 and who never invoke any [imaginary] deity side by side with God, and do not take any human beings life - [the life] which God has willed to be sacred - otherwise than in [the pursuit of] justice, and do not commit adultery. And [know that] he who commits aught thereof shall [not only] meet with a full requital 68 doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection is his punishment, and therein he shall live, humbled, 69 But only those who repent and believe and act righteously will have their sins replaced by virtue; God is All-forgiving and All-merciful. 70 And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds, then verily, he repents towards Allah with true repentance. 71 And those who do not witness falsehood, and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity. 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, do not fall deaf and blind upon them. 73 They pray, "Lord, let our spouses and children be the delight of our eyes and ourselves examples for the pious ones." 74 They will be rewarded for their perseverance with lofty mansions in empyrean where they will be received with greetings of peace and salutations, 75 Abiders therein: excellent it is as an abode and as a station. 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent. 77
