All praise be to God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, who made the angels His messengers, with wings -- two, or three, or four pairs. He adds to His creation whatever He wills; for God has the power to will anything. 1 Whatever Mercy Allah accords to people, none can withhold; and whatever He withholds, no other will be able to release after Him. He is Most Mighty, Most Wise. 2 O you people, remember the favours of God to you. Is there any creator other than God who gives you food from the heavens and the earth? There is no god but He: How then can you turn aside? 3 And if they belie thee, then surely apostles have been belied before thee. And unto Allah shall be brought back all affairs. 4 O men, God's promise is true; so let not the present life delude you, and let not the Deluder delude you concerning God. 5 Verily the Satan is an enemy unto you, wherefore hold him for an enemy; he only calleth his confederates that they become of the fellows of the Blaze. 6 For the disbelievers is a severe punishment; and for those who accepted faith and did good deeds is forgiveness, and an immense reward. 7
