Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
HAS NEWS OF the Overpowering Event reached you? 1 On that Day faces shall be humbled, 2 labouring, weary, 3 about to enter a glowing fire, 4 given to drink from a boiling spring. 5 No food will there be for them but a bitter Dhari' 6 Which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger. 7 (Other) faces that Day will be joyful, 8 With their endeavour well pleased. 9 In a high Garden. 10 Wherein they will hear no unsuitable speech. 11 Therein will be a bubbling spring: 12 Wherein are couches raised 13 and prepared goblets, 14 And cushions set in rows, 15 And rich carpets (all) spread out. 16 What, do they not reflect upon how the camel was created? 17 And the heaven, how it is raised? 18 And the mountains, how they are firmly fixed, 19 And the earth, how it is made a vast expanse? 20 Admonish thou then; thou art but an admonisher. 21 Thou art not one to manage (men's) affairs. 22 However, he who turns away and disbelieves - 23 In which case he will be punished by God with the severest punishment. 24 Certainly, it is to Us that they will return. 25 In Our hands are their accounts. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
