Al-Isra 10 of 12
They ask you about revelation. Say, revelation is by the command of your Lord, and that you have been given but little knowledge. 85 If We pleased, We would certainly take away that which We have revealed to you, then you would find no guardian for you against Us, 86 except for Mercy from your Lord; for His favor to you is great indeed. 87 Say, "If mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to each other assistants." 88 We have mentioned in this Quran all kinds of examples for the human being, but most human beings turn away in disbelief. 89 And say: "We will not believe you until you make a spring of water gush forth from the earth for us; 90 or you (show) us that you have your own garden of palm trees and vines with flowing streams therein, 91 or cause the sky to fall into pieces on us - as you believe you can - or bring God and the angels face to face with us, 92 or (show us) that you have a well adorned house of your own, or climb into the sky. We shall never believe that you have climbed into the sky until you bring us a book that we can read." Say, "All glory belongs to my Lord. Am I more than a mortal Messenger?" 93

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
