T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. 1 We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful. 2 Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears: 3 a revelation from Him who has created the earth and the high heavens 4 The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established. 5 His is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever on the earth and whatsoever is in between and whatsoever is underneath the earth. 6 Whether or not you express (your thoughts) in words, God certainly knows all unspoken thoughts and all that is even more difficult to find. 7 Allah! There is no Allah save Him. His are the most beautiful names. 8 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire and said unto his folk: Lo! Wait! I see a fire afar off. Peradventure I may bring you a brand therefrom or may find guidance at the fire. 10 When he approached it, a voice called out: 11 I am thy Lord; put off thy shoes; thou art in the holy valley, Towa. 12 And I! I have chosen thee, hearken thou then to that which shall be revealed. 13 “Indeed it is Me, Allah – there is no God except I – therefore worship Me and keep the prayer established for My remembrance.” 14 The Hour is coming. But I choose to keep it hidden, so that every human being may be recompensed in accordance with his labours. 15 "Therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish!".. 16 And what is this in your right hand, O Musa! 17 He said: it is my staff; I lean there on; and therewith beat down fodder for my sheep; and for me therein are other purposes. 18 He said, “Put it down, O Moosa! 19 He threw it, and behold! It was a snake, active in motion. 20 The Lord said, "Hold the serpent and do not be afraid; We will bring it back to its original form." 21 "Now place thy hand within thy armpit: it will come forth [shining] white, without blemish, as another sign [of Our grace,] 22 But We shall show you some of Our greatest signs. 23 "Go to Fir'aun (Pharaoh)! Verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience, and has behaved as an arrogant, and as a tyrant)." 24
