We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
