▼ 54 The Moon
Al-Qamar 3 of 3
The warnings came also to Pharaoh's folk. 41 (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what he Will (Omnipotent). 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 The sinful ones will face the destructive torment of hell 47 On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell. 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 It takes only a single command from Us (to bring the Day of Judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 [They were truly guilty] because all [the evil] that they ever did had been [revealed to them as such] in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom; 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things. 55
True are the words of God the Almighty.
