The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 The event will be abasing some, and exalting some. 3 This will happen when the earth is shaken, shaken 4 and the mountains crumbled, 5 So that they will become floating dust particles. 6 You will become three categories: 7 Those on the right hand; how happy shall those on the right hand be! 8 And there shall be such as will have lost themselves in evil: oh, how [unhappy] will be they who have lost themselves in evil! 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 Those are the ones brought near [to Allah] 11 In gardens of delight; 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 Also, they will be served with the fruits of their choice 20 and such flesh of fowl as they desire, 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 Like pearls safely hidden. 23 [And this will be] a reward for what they did [in life]. 24 Therein they hear no vain or sinful discourse. 25 only the saying 'Peace, Peace!' 26 Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right! 27 Amid thornless lote-trees, 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 and spreading shade 30 And water everflowing. 31 And fruit abundant. 32 Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden, 33 And exalted thrones. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 And made them virgins. 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 All this will be for the People on the Right; 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
