۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
