The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 and drowned the others. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
