Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
