The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
