The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
