The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 Like dregs of oil, it will boil in their bellies 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 This is the torment that you persistently doubted". 50 Indeed, for those who feared (Allah) is a secure place 51 amidst gardens and springs. 52 Attired in silk and brocade, they shall be arrayed face to face. 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in security. 55 They shall not taste death except the death in this world. And Allah will save them from the chastisement of Hell 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That! that is the supreme achievement. 57 And We have made it easy in thy language; they might haply be admonished. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59
