The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Terror descends 1 Then none will be able to deny its occurrence. 2 some shall be abased and others exalted. 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 And the mountains will be powdered to dust. 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 You shall then become three groups. 7 Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 Then the foremost, how pre-excellent, 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 A number of people from those of old, 13 And a few from those of later times. 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 with goblets and ewers and a cup filled with a drink drawn from a running spring, 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 they will also go about them with the fruits of which they may choose, 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 And companions with big beautiful eyes 22 Like unto hidden pearls, 23 A recompense for that which they have been working. 24 They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse, 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 And those on the right how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 and amid the extended shade 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit in plenty 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 They shall be on upraised couches, 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 And have made them virgins. 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
