Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 Till you reach the grave. 2 But you will come to know soon; -- 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 you shall surely see Hell; 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
