Have you seen him who turns his back, 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 from a discharged living germ 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 And you are lost in play! 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
