Do you not see that We have sent devils upon the unbelievers who greatly incite them (to oppose the Truth)? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 And drive the wicked into Hell like cattle driven to water, 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 So We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad SAW), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people. 97 How many generations living before them did We destroy? Do you find anyone of them around or do you even hear any word from them? 98
