O ye messengers! enjoy (all) things good and pure, and work righteousness: for I am well-acquainted with (all) that ye do. 51 And verily this religion of yours is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 But they (mankind) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its tenets. 53 So leave them immersed in their heedlessness till an appointed time. 54 Do they think that in giving them wealth and children 55 We provide them with the means of competing with each other in virtuous deeds, but they do not realize this. 56 Surely those who tremble in fear of their Lord 57 And those who believe in the signs of their Lord – 58 And those who do not associate (aught) with their Lord, 59 And those who give what they give and their hearts fear for they have to return to their Lord. 60 those vie in good works, outracing to them. 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 Yet their hearts are oblivious of this; and besides, they are busy with other things, 63 Until, when We grasp those of them who lead a luxurious life with punishment, behold! They make humble invocation with a loud voice. 64 Invoke not loudly this day! Certainly, you shall not be helped by Us. 65 My revelations were recited unto you, but ye used to turn back on your heels, 66 In arrogance; talking nonsense about the Quran, and left him like one telling fables by night. 67 Have they not pondered the saying, or came there upon them that which came not upon their fathers, the ancients? 68 Or is it that they have not recognized their Apostle, so that they deny him? 69 Do they say he is possessed? Rather he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse to the truth. 70 Had the truth followed their desires, the heavens and the earth and all that is in them would have been destroyed. We sent them the Quran but they ignored it. 71 Or dost thou ask of them (O Muhammad) any tribute? But the bounty of thy Lord is better, for He is Best of all who make provision. 72 And indeed you call them to the Straight Path. 73 And verily those who believe not in the Hereafter are deviating from that Way. 74 ۞ Though We had mercy on them and relieved them of the harm afflicting them, they still would wander blindly on in their contumacy. 75 And assuredly We took hold of them with the torment, yet they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they entreat. 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of severe punishment, then lo! They will be plunged into destruction with deep regrets, sorrows and in despair. 77
