۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
