Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing 1 And (the clouds) that bear heavy weight of water; 2 And the ships that glide with ease. 3 by the angels which distribute the affairs, 4 Verily that wherewith ye are threatened is surely true. 5 And verily, the Recompense is sure to happen. 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 You are surely caught in contradictions., 8 perverted in his views thereon is he who would deceive himself! 9 Woe to the falsehood-mongers,- 10 Who are in a gulf (of ignorance) neglectful; 11 They ask: When is the Day of Judgment? 12 (It is) the day on which they shall be tried at the fire. 13 (And told:) "Taste your punishment. This is what you were trying to hasten." 14 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs, 15 Accepting the rewards given by their Lord; they were indeed virtuous before this. 16 They used to sleep only a little during the night. 17 And in the dawns they prayed for forgiveness. 18 In whose wealth the suppliant and the deprived had a share. 19 On the earth are signs for those of assured Faith, 20 And in yourselves. Then will you not see? 21 In the sky is your provision and that which you are promised. 22 And by the Lord of the heavens and the earth, it is the truth, even as (it is true) that ye speak. 23
