The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe to those who are fraudulent in (weighing and measuring), 1 those who, when they are to receive their due from [other] people, demand that it be given in full 2 And when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due. 3 Do they not think they will be raised (to life) again 4 On a Mighty Day, 5 a day when mankind shall stand before the Lord of all Being? 6 No indeed, the Book of the immoral is in Sijjeen. 7 and what shall teach thee what is Sijjin? 8 A written record. 9 Woe, on that Day, to those who reject, 10 Those who deny the Day of Justice. 11 No one denies it except for the evil aggressor. 12 When Our Signs are rehearsed to him, he says, "Tales of the ancients!" 13 Nay, but that which they have earned is rust upon their hearts. 14 Nay, verily, from [the grace of] their Sustainer shall they on that Day be debarred; 15 then they shall enter the Fire of Hell, 16 Further, it will be said to them: "This is the (reality) which ye rejected as false! 17 By no means! Verily the record of the virtuous shall be in 'Illiyun. 18 And what do you know what the Illiyoon are! 19 It is a (repository of) distinctly written record 20 witnessed by those brought nigh. 21 The virtuous will live in bliss, 22 [resting on couches, they will look up [to God]: 23 upon their faces thou wilt see the brightness of bliss. 24 as they are given to drink of a wine sealed 25 which have the fragrance of musk. This is the kind of place for which one should really aspire. 26 And mixed with water of Tasnim, 27 The spring from which drink the ones close to Allah. 28 The sinners laughed at the believers 29 And when they passed by them, they winked at one another. 30 and when they returned to their people they returned blithely, 31 On seeing the believers, they would say, "These people have gone astray". 32 Whereas they were not sent over them as watchers. 33 So today those who believe shall laugh at the unbelievers; 34 as they sit on couches, gazing around. 35 Surely the disbelievers are rewarded as they did. 36
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
