And Harun (Aaron) indeed had said to them beforehand: "O my people! You are being tried in this, and verily, your Lord is (Allah) the Most Beneficent, so follow me and obey my order." 90 [But] they answered: "By no means shall we cease to worship it until Moses comes back to us!" 91 [Moses] said, "O Aaron, what prevented you, when you saw them going astray, 92 From following me? Then have you disobeyed my order?" 93 He said: O son of my mother! Clutch not my beard nor my head! I feared lest thou shouldst say: Thou hast caused division among the Children of Israel, and hast not waited for my word. 94 Moses said: "What, then, is your case, O Samiri?" 95 He said: I perceived what they perceive not, so I seized a handful from the footsteps of the messenger, and then threw it in. Thus my soul commended to me. 96 Moses said, "Go away! Throughout your life you will not be able to let anyone touch you. This will be your punishment in this life. The time for your final punishment is inevitable. You will never be able to avoid it. Look at your god which you have been worshipping. We will burn it in the fire and scatter its ashes into the sea." 97 But the god of you all is the One Allah: there is no god but He: all things He comprehends in His knowledge. 98 Thus We relate to you (O Muhammad SAW) some information of what happened before. And indeed We have given you from Us a Reminder (this Quran). 99 All who shall turn away from it will, verily, bear a [heavy] burden on the Day of Resurrection: 100 which they shall bear forever. It will be a grievous burden for them on the Day of Judgement, 101 the Day when the Trumpet shall be sounded and We shall muster the sinners, their eyes turned blue with terror. 102 Whispering to one another: "You have tarried but ten days." 103 We know well what they will say. The most just among them in the matter will declare: 'You have stayed away but one day' 104
