۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 they have enraged us, 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
