We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
