Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
