Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
