Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The craving for excess wealth kept you people neglectful. 1 until you reach your graves. 2 No! You are going to know. 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire! 6 Again, indeed you will see it with certainty. 7 Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!). 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
