Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you considered him who calls the judgment a lie? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 They who would be seen, 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
